Experience Architect

Job description

Responsibilities

• Guide and refine the design vision into detailed project documentation.

• Supervise the entire design trajectory, from initial conception to construction completion.

• Craft Façade Repair Drawings, either individually or in collaboration with our drafting specialists.

• Head projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Direct bid processes, contractor negotiations, and forge partnerships.

• Engage in construction administration tasks including managing shop drawings, addressing RFIs, and overseeing site inspections.

• Exhibit and impart drafting best practices, assisting junior architects with construction documentation.

• Collaborate with NYC regulatory bodies and be proactive in code and zoning reviews.

• Contribute to the company's marketing initiatives and growth strategies.

• Offer guidance and oversight to junior staff, promoting best practices and quality control.

• Address other related duties as the role demands.

Qualifications

• A degree in architecture or a related discipline.

• Valid architectural registration.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of construction, codes, and zoning.

• Proven experience in architectural documentation, including project and construction specifics.

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and tasks.

• Skilled in using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Blue Beam.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.40 - $42.63 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bayside, NY 11361: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Revit: 1 year (Preferred)

• Sketchup: 1 year (Preferred)
